Responsibility

  • overall management of the firm’s finances
  • posting nominal and purchase ledger invoices, and making payments
  • posting direct debits processed by our bank
  • posting HM Land Registry fees onto client ledgers
  • inputting counsel fees
  • producing accounts journals
  • reconciling all bank accounts
  • checking trial balance figures
  • tracking financial performance, analysing data, and producing reports - including month end reports
  • agreeing VAT figures, and filing VAT returns
  • liaising with external accountants and auditors, dealing with any queries raised

  • your role will involve supporting a Partner with the day-to-day running of his portfolio
  • reviewing financial statements prepared under FRS 102 1a and FRS 105
  • reviewing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns prepared by members of the team
  • supervising a team of senior accountants, semi senior accountants, trainees and bookkeepers
  • communicating with clients and responding to their queries
