check Client record is set up in the broking system, preparing approval forms where necessary
provide guidance to less experienced members of the North America Special Risks Account Handlers team
attend binder and Facultative meetings on a regular basis and client and underwriter meetings as and when required
liaising with Brokers, Underwriters, Coverholders and Agents
monitor and maintain Atlas for the annual compliance of Third Party Coverholders
prepare Profit Commission calculations
maintain accurate customer records in accordance with company requirements and data protection rules

I’m working closely with a global leader who are looking to hire an Account Handler / Client Advisor to join their Birmingham team.
As one of the worlds largest insurance brokers you will be joining a business who can offer multiple opportunities for your career moving forward. My client tells me that they are looking for a candidate with the best client relationship management skills, someone with cross class technical commercial insurance knowledge (Property, Casualty, Liability).
In their words “preferably we’re looking for someone who has corporate/global experience, can manage a client book of £350k income and can hit the ground running” although I have been told they will also consider an “up and comer” someone who is ready to deal with more complex corporate cases and who is looking to move from an independent to a global insurance broker.
