Purpose of Role: To create a broad range of editorial features for our digital magazine portfolio(s), brochures and social assets for client projects, and incorporate a variety of interactive elements, including advertising to leverage innovative use of multimedia. Main responsibilities & main duties: Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, from writers to sales colleagues, to design compelling multimedia digital magazine features and publication covers. Follow and help to develop company templates, processes and production procedures to ensure efficient workflows and timely delivery. Work effectively with production managers and editors to iterate designs and make corrections based on stakeholder feedback. Prepare magazines technically for publication, including a booking process of combining documents and generating final PDF output, complete with outbound links. Upload the magazines and brochures for online distribution. Become the brand guardian for the magazines assigned to you. Other responsibilities: Demonstrate a professional approach at all times when representing the company, either verbally or written. Maintain the company’s policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and Data Protection. Adhere to the company’s dress code & working hours. Be aware of and have a duty to comply with the company’s Health & Safety rules and procedures. Bring to the attention of Line Manager any health and safety issues. Attend Design Department & Sector meetings as required Be prepared to “go the extra mile” to succeed Evaluate own performance and identify training needs. Commercial Designer Norwich
PURPOSE OF ROLE: To create a broad range of artwork for our commercial clients, covering all forms of advertisement design across multiple platforms, including digital-magazine, web, social etc. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN DUTIES: Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, from production to sales colleagues, to design effective adverts and commercial-campaigns that fulfill brief and represent the clients business and products. Follow and help to develop company templates, processes and production procedures to ensure efficient workflows and timely delivery. Work effectively with production managers and sales teams to iterate designs and make corrections based on stakeholder feedback. Prepare commercial assets ready for the destined platform, following processes and systems to ensure exacting attention-to-detail and meeting deadline. Main purpose of the role: To create a broad range of editorial features for a portfolio of B2B/B2C digital magazines with global audiences. Working with international sector-leading businesses and brands, the ideal candidate will have studio experience working with editors, and be comfortable sourcing and art-editing imagery that tells a story.
