- co-ordinating the actions of the caretaking staff in response to emergencies
- co-ordinating Health and Safety matters on behalf of the School Business Manager
- managing the Caretaker team to ensure site security
- monitoring building and grounds maintenance contracts, including the retender of contract according to contract specifications
- ensuring that all H&S checks are carried out
- ensuring that efficient stock control systems are in place, including secure storage
- managing the Catering and Cleaning Teams
- the role of the Site manager is absolutely key to the safe running of the school and buildings The successful candidate needs to be reliable, proactive and professional with the ability to remain calm and positive at all times
