Requirements
- qualification in Mental Health, Youth Work, Social Work
- A further relevant degree qualification
- experience of working with children and young people who are struggling with their emotional wellbeing and mental health
- experienced youth worker with extensive experience in a youth work setting
- experience of working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team to deliver services to young people
- ability to develop trusting relationships with young people based on youth Work values
- significant experience of working with safeguarding and risk management of young people
- ability to work evenings and occasional weekends
Responsibility
- to develop trusting relationships by giving people time and focusing on ‘what matters to me’
- support young service users to identify their needs and goals and facilitate the development of personal support and recovery plans
- 13. To undertake any other tasks and duties as required as requested by senior staff and managers to meet the requirements of the service, including taking responsibility for leading a group or activity
- 14. Ensure health and safety policy and procedure requirements are met, particularly related to work surroundings and service activities
- 15. Ensure all data protection policy and procedure requirements are met
