Responsibility
- we specialise in Home Extensions and Garage Conversions and carry out quality builds for our high quality customers
- position is a self-employed role, with a price to be agreed for each build prior to commencement
- lay and align bricks, blocks, or stones according to blueprints or specifications
- mix mortar or other adhesives and apply to bricks or stones
- cut or shape bricks, stones, or other materials to fit specific dimensions
- use tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to ensure proper alignment and construction
- the Extension Guys are a highly regarded independent building company, based in Denton, Tameside who are looking for a full-time, qualified bricklayers to carry out all aspects of brickwork on our home extension projects around the Greater Manchester/Cheshire areas
- repair or replace damaged bricks or stones
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a brick mason
- ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans
- proficient in using masonry tools and equipment
- knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, and stones
- strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- bricklaying: 10 years
- masonry: 10 years
- denton, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
