- setting realistic SLAs for tasks, ensuring that breaches are minimal and that any changes to targets are clearly communicated
- take responsibility for ensuring the technical team are providing high quality output within the expected time constraints
- manage one or more development squads with related system/dependencies
- manage significant complexity and ambiguity in delivery outcomes
- lead and coach the development squads, including tracking of KPIs and Role Profiles at a team and individual developer level
- combine bespoke ideas with industry standard practices to plug gaps, fix shortcomings or enhance development processes
- build strong relationships with the key stakeholders within Sales, Digital Marketing and Compliance, maintaining communication and ensuring they feel empowered to make decisions based on expectations from the technical team
- use broad and deep technical understanding of current and emerging trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the development teams
