Responsibility
- managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their compliance with accounting, tax, VAT, payroll and other regulatory requirements
- providing high-quality advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters
- building strong relationships with clients and acting as their primary point of contact
- conducting regular meetings with clients to discuss their financial performance and business objectives
- generating referrals and identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional services to clients
- liaising with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met effectively
- managing the team responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, accounts preparation and tax returns
- ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
Requirements
- fully qualified accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience
- strong knowledge of Xero accounting software
- strong experience of accounts preparation
- experience of reviewing accounts/Corporation Tax returns/VAT returns/payroll and providing review comments/coaching to junior team members
- experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality service
- previous experience of leading a team within a practice environment
- project management experience and excellent organisations skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
