Responsibility
- conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- analyse data from inspections and tests to identify trends or areas for improvement
- implement and monitor HACCP protocols to maintain food safety standards
- document inspection results and prepare reports for management review
- collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- assist in the development and revision of quality assurance policies and procedures
- participate in internal audits and support external audits as required
- provide training to staff on quality assurance practices and procedures
Requirements
- proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment
- strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
- knowledge of HACCP principles is highly desirable
- excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- proficient in using quality assurance tools and software
