electrical engineer
Responsibility
- perform routine Preventative Planned Maintenance on electrical systems as per site schedules and asset lists
- respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and work proactively to suggest improvements
- identify and repair electrical faults to keep systems operational
- maintain accurate inventory and ensure necessary spares are available for ongoing maintenance and repairs
- update and manage maintenance records in the Computer Based Maintenance Systems
- ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place and followed for all tasks to maintain a safe working environment
- supervise and monitor subcontractors while they carry out maintenance works on-site
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, KPIs, and SLAs
Requirements
- formal electrical engineering training
- 18th Edition BS7671
- experience working in building services and maintaining electrical equipment
- experience with UPS, Generators, LV systems, and fault-finding processes
- IT literate and familiar with maintenance software
- knowledge of HVAP and/or LVAP systems
- excellent customer-facing skills and communication
- portable Appliance Testing certification
