Responsibility
- knowledge of wiring conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- zoning and programming of fire alarm systems
- testing systems and devices according to the latest standards, including battery load testing
- installation of intruder alarm systems and understanding of basic wiring
- manual addition of resistors zones
- setting up, programming, and testing of intruder alarm systems
- familiarity with audio and video entry systems
- integration of access control systems with gates
Requirements
- adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and skills
- ability to work independently on construction sites, both occupied and unoccupied
- self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving
- comfortable working at heights in compliance with current guidelines
- capable of completing work to a high standard with attention to trunking, snagging, and completion
- appropriate training, equipment, and support will be provided
