- edgewood School will be the newest and latest edition to the SENAD Group portfolio.Currently undergoing major building and renovation work, our site in Lingswood Park, Northampton will become a vibrant, ambitious and caring independent residential school for young people aged 7 up to 16 years old with a range of complexity and need, including; Autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication
- this role offers a fantastic opportunity to not only be part of something new, but to help set up and develop a vibrant and modern residential provision from the outset
- you will support and supervise the care team in all aspects of residential childcare; and the delivery of a sound, consistent care provision - across all shifts
- your will also ensure good quality supervision for Team Leaders and Senior RSWs, manage the administration of medication and conduct regular auditing to ensure good practice is continually followed
- you should have experience of working in a residential school / care setting and with children and young people, hold a relevant L3 Diploma and be willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Management / Health and Social Care if not already held
