Responsibility

  • set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, milling, turning
  • read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production
  • monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
  • inspect finished products for quality and precision
  • collaborate with engineers and designers to make adjustments as needed
  • assemble components using various techniques including plastics injection molding
  • utilise SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications

Requirements

  • proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • proficiency in using hand tools, tooling, and operating CNC machinery
  • strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
  • knowledge of grinding techniques and plastics injection molding processes
  • ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
  • familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes
  • excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
