Responsibility
- conduct in-depth assessments of potential foster carers using the Form F format
- undertake comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers in line with legislation and regulations, and provide reports on their suitability
- our mission is to create strong fostering communities where children thrive
- collaborate closely with our three fostering agencies to understand specific needs and requirements
- participate in the organisation, administration, and delivery of training for potential foster carers and staff
- produce detailed, objective, and high-quality assessment reports
- we are devoted to finding the best possible foster homes, and we rely on thorough assessments to ensure a child's wellbeing
- provide feedback to potential foster carers during and post-assessment
Requirements
- social Work qualification and valid registration
- experience in conducting Form F assessments or similar evaluations
- comprehensive understanding of fostering regulations and best practices
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people
- qualified Social Worker
- exceptional written communication skills for report production
- knowledge of UK legislation and regulations related to fostering
- excellent organisational and communication skills
