Responsibility
- the factory specialises in Snacking Products including Scotch Eggs, cocktail sausages, mini – filled bites and seasonal products
- reporting to the Hygiene Manager, successful candidates will work with the Hygiene team to clean production and packing areas

- we are looking for highly motivated Operatives at our Ruskington site who can follow directions to produce high quality goods to our customers
- comply with Company policy and procedures on safe food handling and hygiene at all times
- completing tasks as efficiently as possible to reduce waste and downtime
- to ensure that any equipment/goods issued to any customer/haulier is recorded in keeping with the management systems in place
- maintain responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and report faults to Management in a timely manner
- working as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, and sharing knowledge
- reporting to the Bulk Pork Packing Supervisor, successful applicants will be trained to rotate across a number of areas including, the box room, freezer lines and carousel
- reporting to the line leader, your role responsibilities will include ensuring that all products are produced and packaged according to the specification
- to ensure all documentation and records are completed in full
- maintain personal PPE
- work flexibly across multiple roles and areas within the Abattoir to ensure service levels are met
- there is an element of flexibility to react to variations in product type and production line changes all of which are completed whilst ensuring that Health and Safety rules are complied with
- carry out any other reasonable duties assigned necessary to meet business needs
- previous experience would be beneficial
- the operators will need to be flexible and use a variety of skills, understanding quality, product and safety requirements and be able to handle non routine situations which may arise
- carry out frequent audits of condition of areas of responsibility and report any damage or repair requirements immediately to the Hygiene Manager
- AM - 6:00am-2:00pm
- you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days on a rolling shift pattern with Sunday as your permanent rest day
- PM - 2:00pm-10:00pm
- to ensure the level of tidiness in the Rear Yard, Lairage Yard and CAT2/3 blood system loading bay following the 5S approach to audit standards at all times
