ONESAVINGS BANK PLC is looking for employees for positions:
hr advisor
Responsibility
- providing a proactive and professional HR advisory service to line managers
- build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand current business priorities and associated risks and opportunities
- ensuring all employee relations situations are managed in line with employment legislation, ACAS guidelines and the relevant OSB policies and procedures
- support line managers in delivering effective and robust appraisal, probation and performance management processes
- undertake all maternity, paternity and other family policy meetings with employees plus associated administration
- this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract
- proactively support on flexible working requests and manage sickness absences, providing appropriate support and ensuring administration is accurate and kept up to date
Requirements
- previous work experience in a HR advisory or equivalent role is essential
- knowledge of an HR system is essential, Ceridian Day force would be desirable
- strong track record of managing employee relations
- intermediate knowledge of generalist employment law and employee benefits are essential
- strong communication skills
- CIPD qualification
