Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience of working in general practice
  • AAT qualified, part qualified or QBE
  • proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc
  • ability to prepare accounts from a variety of client records
  • strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • good working knowledge of income tax, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE
  • A good team player who is able to assist junior colleagues when required

Responsibility

  • assistance with management of work flow
  • assist other team members with VAT return preparation and book-keeping
