barista
Responsibility
- prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers
- know how to dial in Coffee using scales and dosages
- take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- setup coffee station, this may include erecting gazebos and other coffee related jobs which include some manual labour
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- assist with food preparation as needed
Requirements
- previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- drivers license
- minimum L2 Food Hygiene Certification
