- we are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to making a difference to the people with learning disability
- extensive experience of supporting individuals with complex Autism is strongly desired
- shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays
- the role will be rota’d to do two nights per week including weekends and bank holidays
- shifts will be spread across evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- the shift pattern is from 10pm until 7am
- the Shifts will be 08.45pm 07.15am on a rota basis of two nights on, six nights off
- you will be providing overnight support to one gentleman, ensuring his safety and comfort while he sleeps
- you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £61.20 for any sleep-in shifts carried out
- prior experience of supporting individuals with Autism would be desirable for this role
- must be a driver with a full, clean UK licence
- the payment for sleep ins is non-contractual
- support workers will receive training in moving people and using hoists
- you will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient personality
- personal care- supporting individuals to bed at their chosen time, carrying out regular checks and supporting them with toileting as required
- we can be flexible with the number of hours offered and will consider applications from all interested candidates
- the role does included a lot of personal care and monitoring of the service users

- the full-time position would be for 4 nights on and 4 nights off however, this could also be offered as two part-time posts. The Shifts will be 20.45pm - 05.45am and if on a part time basis would be on the rota as 2 nights on and 6 nights off
