- we are now recruiting for School Cook at the Lewis Charlton Group
- salary £17,000 per annum
- the cook's responsibilities will also include inventory control, removing the waste, clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms
- cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
- washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes
- preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat
- cooking and preparation of meals as specified
- sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls
Requirements
- proven experience working in kitchens
- sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
