kirklands Care Ltd are a young, dynamic company wanting to grow and build a portfolio of Care Homes across England
you will be based in Leicester and are required to travel to the various sites across Leicester, Stoke-On-Trent and Cumbria
the role on offer is for an experienced Facilities Manager who is driven, enthusiastic and willing to learn and grow within the company
to be responsible for ensuring that building maintenance, including contract work, is carried out to appropriate legislation, standards and specification
plan and undertake regular inspections of the homes, ensuring all the homes have an up to date Property Inspection Report and Environment Action Plan, and that all actions are monitored and successfully managed
on call on weekends for any emergency issues
ensure asset registers are produced and kept up-to-date
health and Safety – offer assistance and guidance on matters related to health and safety regarding the environment, buildings and grounds
Requirements
experience of working in estates / facilities management
experience of managing budgets
experience of supervising and managing others
experience of good working practice
good written and verbal communication skills
highly organised and great time management skills in order to prioritise projects, own work, and work towards targets and deadlines
