Responsibility
- analysing and reviewing product functionality to define test conditions, test scripts and test data required to adequately cover
- preparing and maintaining test data
- preparing and maintaining test plans
- executing test scripts & maintaining an audit trail of test execution and outcomes
- identifying candidates for test automation
- collaboration with software developers to review and resolve defects
- creating test defect tickets that supply good information regarding the issue, how to recreate the issue and any relevant evidence to assist a developer in understanding how to approach the fix
- assembly and maintenance of regression test packs, ensuring test cases are continuously reviewed to cover use cases that ensure the pack remains relevant
Requirements
- previous experience of working in a Test role, ideally in the insurance industry
- good interpersonal skills, able to listen to client requirements and question to clarify the detail
- ability to interpret requirements clearly and concisely for developers and support teams using JIRA
- good presentation skills, able to provide concise presentations and demonstrations to client forums
- ensure compliance with Send Policies/Processes including local and international laws
- excellent planning, organising and time management skills
- professional and results oriented approach
- self-motivated and driven attitude to work combined with an ability to meet deadlines
