Responsibility
- we employ more than 2,000 people based at 38 sites throughout the UK and Australasia
- we manufacture and repair up to 14 million pallets a year, at 16 sites across England and Scotland
- our customers include all the major pallet pools and blue-chip companies including automotive, engineering, construction, pharmaceutical and retail businesses
- we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Sales Order Coordinator to join our Administration Department, reporting to our Systems Director
- james Jones & Sons Ltd is a 5th generation family business and one of the UK’s largest timber processing companies in the UK
- the successful candidate will work Monday to Friday and the core hours will be discussed at interview
- in the UK James Jones & Sons Ltd manufactures up to 7 million new pallets and repairs up to 25 million pallets per annum across our 15 sites
- you will be first point of contact for our customers, as well as our own production, transport and credit control teams
Requirements
- assist the sales team in managing and organizing sales activities
- proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar role
- coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for the sales team
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- prepare and distribute sales reports and presentations
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- maintain customer databases and update customer information
- proficient in MS Office
