Requirements


  • bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
  • HCPC/CSP registered
  • proven experience in sports physiotherapy, with a focus on working with athletes and high-net-worth individuals

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele
  • ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • exceptional organisational and time-management skills
  • willingness to travel with clients
  • full Clean UK Driver's licence
  • certification in sports therapy/physiotherapy/sports science, with a specialization in sports massage preferred
  • proven experience in providing sports massage therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels
  • strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics as they relate to sports and exercise
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • A passion for helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals

Responsibility


  • provide education and advice to patients on injury prevention, management, and performance enhancement
  • comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify injuries, limitations, and movement dysfunctions, tailored to each client's unique needs and goals
  • rehabilitation Planning: Design and implement individualised rehabilitation programs using evidence-based practices to address injuries, improve function, and enhance performance
  • manual Therapy: Administer a range of hands-on techniques and manual therapies to promote healing, reduce pain, and restore mobility
  • exercise Prescription: Develop and prescribe targeted therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination
  • client Education: Provide education on injury prevention, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support rehabilitation and long-term well-being
  • progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and adjust rehabilitation plans based on client progress, ensuring optimal recovery and performance outcomes
  • documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress to ensure continuity of care
  • provide high quality treatment to clients, including athletes and fitness enthusiasts
  • assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their specific goals and concerns
  • utilize a variety of massage techniques to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and accelerate recovery
  • educate clients on proper self-care strategies and exercises to complement their massage therapy sessions
  • maintain accurate client records and documentation of treatments
  • collaborate with other members of the wellness team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • to undertake the assessment of both acute and chronic conditions that may present in clinic
  • carry out subjective forms and consultations with clients
  • carry out hands on manual therapy techniques including Sports Massage
  • lead gym based rehabilitation sessions
  • attend monthly CPD sessions
  • provide rehabilitation exercises and manual therapy to aid in recovery and enhance performance
