Requirements


  • sports coaching: 1 year
  • proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football or related sports
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to educate players effectively
  • ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential
  • relevant Coaching Qualifications
  • strong organisational skills to manage training schedules
  • first Aid Certificate
  • driving License
  • training Days
  • proven experience as a Football Coach or in a similar coaching role
  • in-depth knowledge of football rules, techniques, strategies, and equipment
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals
  • excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage practice sessions effectively
  • patience, adaptability, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • valid driver's license
  • previous experience in coaching football, particularly with secondary school students
  • strong ability to teach football skills and create structured, enjoyable sessions
  • able to commit to a zero hours contract from September 2024 through the autumn and spring terms

Responsibility


  • coordinate with other coaches and staff to ensure smooth operation of the team
  • provide guidance and support to players both on and off the field

  • build confidence and keep retention rates up across the year
  • develop the team to become more competitive
  • to be responsible for the entire coaching staff including GK coaches
  • to be responsible for the effectiveness of the scouting department
  • to be responsible for the management of the first team players and performances on match days
  • to report all necessary information to the FA. You will be working closely with the secretary
  • plan and deliver football coaching sessions that are fun, engaging, and educational
  • teach football skills and techniques appropriate for secondary school students
  • foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate
  • ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions
  • adapt sessions to cater to varying skill levels and abilities
  • communicate effectively with school staff and FIFTH Movement management
