Requirements

  • previous experience of at least 4 years in practice accounts is essential. Please only apply if you have such experience
  • ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • highly competent preparing accounts to FRS 102a and 105
  • good knowledge of both personal and corporation tax
  • knowledge of multiple accounting systems such as VT software, Taxfiler, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • desire to encourage others to develop and self development
  • have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • preparing financial accounts for limited companies and unincorporated businesses to trial balance/review stage

Responsibility

  • statutory accounts to FRS 102a and 105– preparation and submission
  • support the team regarding Tax returns and VAT
  • mentoring Junior members & deputise for the Director
  • preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • assisting in the preparation of management accounts
  • liaison with the HMRC
  • produce year end accounts in VT and verify via Xero software
  • produce year end accounts in VT and verify via using Xero
