ensuring compliant and timely filings of all HMRC requirements, whilst providing input into strategic matters
managing tax compliance, filing and risk management across all tax matters for Hyde
coaching the broader finance, development, legal and related departments on Direct and Indirect tax matters
keep abreast of new legislation and legal decisions, identifying risks and exposure, and make relevant and timely recommendations
managing the efficient, effective, and compliant operation of the Hyde’s direct and indirect tax affairs, including VAT, Corporation tax, Stamp duty, CIS and PAYE matters
managing the planning, preparation, and analysis of all tax returns for Group with support from relevant tax and wider finance team members, including subsidiaries and relevant partners, ensuring all statutory submissions are compliant and made within deadlines
providing strategic advice on the management of tax within Hyde, introducing new, tax efficient, ways of working to identify and realise cost and cash savings for the organisation
as an Assistant Tax Manager, you will be working within the Finance and resources department to assist the Group Tax Manager in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and minimizing tax liabilities for the organisation
Requirements
professional accountant with a tax qualification
minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in tax management role
experience within the property tax and real estate sector is desirable
tax compliance experience in CT, LLP, VAT & VAT partial exemption, CIS and SDLT
