Working hours
- full-time | Part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to work in all areas of the home and to ensure all tasks are carried out by other care staff
- assisting with accidents, first aid, etc. and reporting same in accordance with agreed procedures
- to be on call available to be called upon for assistance
- to find cover where possible when staff call in sick
- to keep all relevant paperwork up to date and filed accordingly
- to act as a key worker to a designated number of service users, liaising with family members/carers, members of other professions, members of the public, etc. as necessary
- to attend all mandatory training when available
- where necessary, to attend to all personal care needs of the service user, including assistance with using toilet facilities, the management of incontinence and menstruation, assistance with food and drinks, and bathing, dressing etc
