Requirements
- strong Interest in Mental Health & Mental Capacity Law
- have a passion for access to justice
- law degree or equivalent experience
- proficiency with MS Office and Case Management systems
- high levels of motivation and organisation
- ability to travel to other locations as and when required
- excellent communication skills
- well presented and polite
Responsibility
- assist Lawyers in preparing legal documents
- conduct legal research and collect pertinent information for cases
- providing clients with high quality, proactive legal advice
- manage and organise legal files and documents
- undertake effective legal research, using appropriate methods and sourcing, presenting the results accurately and clearly
- responsible for managing a case load of medical negligence claims. Case load of between 120 – 150 cases
- facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders in legal proceedings
- training and close supervision would be provided by senior fee earners within team
