paralegal
Responsibility
- assist Lawyers in preparing legal documents
- conduct legal research and collect pertinent information for cases
- providing clients with high quality, proactive legal advice
- manage and organise legal files and documents
- undertake effective legal research, using appropriate methods and sourcing, presenting the results accurately and clearly
- responsible for managing a case load of medical negligence claims. Case load of between 120 – 150 cases
- facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders in legal proceedings
- training and close supervision would be provided by senior fee earners within team
Requirements
- law degree or equivalent experience
- high levels of motivation and organisation
- excellent communication skills
- ideally the successful candidate will already be working within a conveyancing position dealing with various matters or have experience of this
- good levels of IT literacy
- the right candidate will have excellent oral and written communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to empathise with vulnerable clients
