Responsibility

- conducting experiments to evaluate the performance of catalysts, including reaction rates, selectivity, and stability
- characterising catalysts using techniques such as X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and spectroscopy to understand their structure and composition
- optimizing catalyst formulations and structures to enhance catalytic activity
- collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop practical production methods for the developed catalyst
- upgrade Carbon into a more valuable material
- source and order lab equipment
- scaling up processes and Equipment to industrial level
Requirements
- an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field with a focus on catalysis
- significant knowledge of catalyst chemistry
- experience with microwave energy driven chemical reactions would be desirable
- experience of Carbon- graphene/graphite
- strong knowledge of catalysis principles, reaction mechanisms, and materials science, specifically focused on methane pyrolysis
- experience in designing and synthesizing catalysts using various techniques
- familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and practices
- excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
