Requirements
- previous experience in a laundry role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting, is advantageous but not essential
- full clean driving license
- strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items as needed
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to laundry operations
Responsibility
- sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures
- follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to the supervisor
- ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management
- assist with inventory management of linens and uniforms as required
