Responsibility
- to provide a hands-on approach to resolving challenges whilst ensuring continuity of production and limitation of waste
- proactively identify and solve problems on the plant to increase reliability and efficiency
- be a member of the continuous improvement team and drive CI Initiatives
- to document all breakdowns and repairs, so that we can focus our resource effectively
- ensure technical investigations into root cause of breakdowns is carried out
- ensure compliance with all statutory requirements e.g. food safety, electrical safety
- to work safely at all times using the correct PPE for each particular task
- maintain calm and clear with the team indicating realistic timescales on plan breakdowns to
Requirements
- good communication skills and a friendly approachable style
- electrical and/or Mechanical bias, with supporting qualifications, but we will consider experienced/knowledgeable people who can demonstrate a safe attitude to work and the right skills
- electrical Engineering: 1 year
- experience of working with high volume bakery manufacturing equipment would be ideal but not essential
