- conducting daily safety briefings and ensuring the team understands and follows safety protocols
- reporting any accidents, injuries, incidents, near misses, or damage to plant/equipment to management in a timely manner
Requirements
- strong awareness of health and safety practices and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with the team and external stakeholders
- proven ability to motivate, manage, and support a team, recognizing individual strengths and development needs
- resilience and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A valid driving licence, with experience driving 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles
- A valid CSCS card
- NRSWA qualification
- SSSTS qualification
