- assisting with the laying of kerbs and new drainage lines to specified lines and levels
- shovelling and laying on-site materials
- digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling holes
- mixing and applying concrete-based materials
- maintaining a tidy site environment throughout the project
- loading and unloading materials and equipment
- leading by example and supporting other operatives on-site
- assisting 1st and 2nd level operatives when required
Requirements
- A valid UK driving licence with experience driving 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles
- A valid CSCS card
- strong understanding of health and safety protocols
- previous experience in civil engineering, construction, or groundworks
- physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- NRSWA qualification
- experience with small powered equipment, such as disc cutters, petrol breakers, and wacker plates
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
