quantity surveyor
Responsibility
- we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a 6-month contract role based in Leeds
- lead cost management across all phases of utility projects, with a strong emphasis on water infrastructure
- manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process for retail projects
- manage costs on a wide variety of building projects, ensuring value for money while achieving required standards and quality
- provide accurate and timely cost reporting, forecasts, and budget analysis
- prepare and analyze project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- this is an immediate start position, offering a competitive daily rate of £220-270
- provide advice on contractual claims and manage contractual issues
Requirements
- proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the retail sector
- strong understanding of framework agreements and SOR
- MRICS qualification is essential
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- proven experience in a client-side Quantity Surveyor role
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in utilities, with a strong background in the water sector
- experience managing multiple retail projects
