Responsibility
- build and maintain relationships with existing suppliers both trade and retail customers
- perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company
- dealing with suppliers to ensure the customer receives the correct products within the agreed time limits
- ensuring all health and safety & Fire guidelines are always followed to ensure the department is a safe environment
Requirements
- electrical product knowledge is essential, ideally from an electrical wholesale background
- experience of customer relationship management and developing a true partnership approach
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, leading by example consistently
- proven buying and sales track record
- self-confident and self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative and promote good teamwork
- well, presented, credible and professional, instilling trust and confidence in all interactions
- ability to interpret basic financial/statistical information
- A pro-active approach to buying and sales, with a strong desire and ability to grow new business and develop existing business both face to face and over the phone
