senior technician
Education
- degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant IT subject area
- experience in advising and working on IT systems
- high level of technical knowledge and competence in IT
- experience in education would be preferable, although not essential
- familiarity of working with Google Workspace, including Google Classroom
- A sound knowledge of both Microsoft Windows and ChromeOS products
- A specialist knowledge of IT hardware and software
- A strong passion for learning and to develop own skills further in ICT specialism
Responsibility
- create and maintain network user accounts as required, in line with procedures
- to undertake such other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties/responsibilities/grade of the post
- maintain the school hardware asset database and keep updated as appropriate
- maintain printers with toner, including keeping track of stock and ordering as required
- the post holder must comply with the School’s Equal Opportunities Policy and Health and Safety Policy
