- lay bricks and other types of masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures
- read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure
- mix mortar and spread it onto the brick or masonry units using trowels
- use various tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and jointers to shape and align the bricks or masonry units
- cut bricks or masonry units to size using saws or power tools

- apply weatherproofing and finishing coats of mortar to the exterior surfaces of completed walls
Requirements
- proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
- ability to read blueprints and specifications
- strong attention to detail and precision in work
- physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- safety-conscious mindset when working with tools and equipment
- plastering: 1 year
