- provide child-centred care and support to our young residents, nurturing their physical and emotional well-being
- build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people, ensuring they feel safe and valued
- communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to ensure the best possible care for our residents
- collaborate with our dedicated team to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and development
Requirements
- experience in a support work environment with a strong understanding of safeguarding
- QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
- child-centred and confident in supporting young people with their needs
- strong team working skills with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
- effective communicator, both in written and verbal communication
- hold a full manual driver's license
- demonstrate a high level of empathy and integrity in your work
- residential Childcare: 1 year
