Working hours
- part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- opening/closing down procedures – ensure areas are left clean and tidy for the next shift
- serving customers with a smile in a timely manner – including taking drinks and food orders and ensuring excellent customer experience
- customer service - greeting guests, providing information about the menu or event, and answering any questions that customers may have
- bartending - preparing and serving drinks, taking orders, handling cash and credit card payments, and ensuring customers have a positive experience at the bar
- teamwork - work with other staff members to ensure that the bar or event runs smoothly and efficiently
- cleaning - maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including floors, service areas, tables, washing glasses and utensils, and cleaning spills and messes as they occur
- operation of the cash tills and card machines
- setting up/taking down - assisting with the set-up and breakdown of events, including moving furniture, setting up tables and chairs, and arranging decorations
Requirements
- previous hospitality experience preferred, but not essential as full training will be given
- strong communication and organisational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot environment
- be able to work well under pressure
