- you must be an experienced self-starter with an optimistic and 'can do' attitude. You will also support with ad-hoc projects as well as the rest of the team, on an operational basis in the large change project
- to have the ability to travel to different locations to meet the needs of the business
- the successful candidate should have previous experience, a team player and have previous experience of being involved in managing client care packages and staff autonomously
- to proactively deliver an excellent standard care at all times; use initiative and problem-solving skills with service users, ensuring positive outcomes are achieved
- you will be expected work alongside the manager to resolve conflict among team members in line with policies and procedures ensuring that accurate notes are taken when meetings are held
- you will ensure changes to care packages are recorded/ updated on the relevant systems and communicated to the Care Manager/ Director and the support team
- you will be responsible to work closely with the manager and follow up reported concerns/complaint until they are resolved in conjunction with the management team and HR, following policies and procedures that are in place and ensuring accurate minutes are noted and recorded
- to ensure that you are familiar with the services required by all Service Users. So that so will be able to provide care in the event of an emergency and to support field staff if they require assistance over the phone/ or whilst on shift
- manage and investigate any Safeguarding concerns in Co-ordination with Management and HR
- in order to facilitate meeting the need of our service users which operates up to 366 days and nights per year, it is an essential requirement of the job that the post holder will be required to work flexible and unsociable hours
- reporting any accidents to care/support workers, service users or visitors to their home to the manager and recording and documenting accurately
- ensure MAR charts are accurate and in line with GP/other medical professionals recommendations
