Responsibility
- our client is currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Head office is based in Barnsley with projects around Barnsley and Manchester
- offering innovative solutions that help their clients save time and money in the long term by utilising modern methods of construction and materials within social housing projects
Requirements
- production of tenders and quotations for a variety of works
- maintain the CRM database, including the allocation of tender numbers and the distribution of tender documentation
- carry out tender risk management procedures
- preparation of subcontract and materials enquiries including analysis of quotations received
- carry out site visits to take measurements and photographs and to assess site
- prepare take offs from drawings
- preparation of defects schedules
- make assessments of labour requirements
