UK FITNESS is looking for employees for positions:
warehouse supervisor
Responsibility
- origin Fitness are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to develop the expanding team in our Newbridge facility
- on a day to day basis you would be expected to control the workload of the team both individually and collectively
- manage staffing levels including any requirements for temp staff and control HR on shift
- training of new colleagues in line with the development of the formal induction program
- conduct daily team meetings
- planning the workload ahead and liaise with the Orders and Supply Chain teams to plan the workload as efficiently as possible
- checking orders prior to despatch
- checking banding and pallet wrapping is to Company standard
Requirements
- previous experience of supervising senior warehouse operatives as well as warehouse operatives
- good people management skills
- experience of Inventory Management – understanding stock control, order fulfilment and inventory systems
- operating in a 5S’s environment and having a continuous improvement mindset
- logistics knowledge – familiarity with shipping, receiving and distribution process
- full UK driving licence
- working experience of an ERP system
- counterbalance/ Reach truck licence
