assisting employees with queries relating to HR policy, process, and best practice

support the management of complex employee cases relating to disciplinary, grievance, conduct, capability, performance management and sickness absence
this includes providing advice to managers on policy/procedure and legislation, liaising with Occupational Health, supporting formal investigations and hearings
contribute to policy development
developing and building strong and trusted partnerships with managers, providing high quality HR advice and guidance to facilitate the early resolution of difficult, complex, or sensitive employee relations issues
Requirements
up to date knowledge of employment legislation and experience interpreting policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations
experience of advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion
excellent communication skills
exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade, influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy
ability to work autonomously, multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
human resources: 2 years
CIPD qualification preferred but not essential. It’s more important that you can demonstrate how you can support and help to develop our teams
experience of dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively with a sound knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation
