Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- in short we are contracted to clients as Millwrights and provide engineering solutions to problems
- the applicant’s initial role and responsibilities will be to provide backup to a small team of engineers and fitters over weekend/ bank holiday shutdown works, emergency callouts and general maintenance works throughout varied days in a working week
- this will entail being a fitter’s mate, machinist , stores keeping, performing welding operations, use of MEWP and electrical/ electronics maintenance
Requirements
- experience in an engineering environment. Emphasis on mechanical system initially with electrics then electronics lastly
- machinist skills preferable. Either tool room, production workshop entailing turning; milling; grinding ; jig boring, EDM eroding etc
- 3 days in the week, 2 days at the weekend.. Bank holidays and callouts required
- the use of their own car for transport
- fork lift truck license
- MEWP license
- A positive attitude towards providing a quality service and maintaining our company image of versatility and flexibility
- work schedule can be flexible to meet client demands but can organise a 5 day week as below or a 4 on 4 off pattern
