fabricator welder
Responsibility
- read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fabricate components
- operate welding equipment and ensure proper settings for different welding processes
- utilize an air-fed welding mask to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- conduct quality inspections of welded components to ensure they meet the company's standards
- collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges
- maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order
- perform MIG welding on light steel and TIG welding on mild steel for various projects including mezzanine floors, staircases, balustrades, and benches
- adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- proven experience as a MIG/TIG Fabricator, particularly with light steel and mild steel
- proficient in using MIG and TIG welding techniques
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- must possess and use an air-fed welding mask
- strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- physical stamina and manual dexterity
