fabricator welder
Responsibility
- perform MIG and TIG welding on Stainless / Mild Steel exhaust systems, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards
- assemble metal components according to specifications and drawings
- fabricate parts from sheet metal, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and tolerances
- read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fabricate components
- operate welding equipment and ensure proper settings for different welding processes
- utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks
- utilize an air-fed welding mask to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the fabrication process

Requirements
- proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of welding processes
- proven experience as a MIG/TIG Fabricator, particularly with light steel and mild steel
- experience in assembling Mild and Stainless steel components
- proficient in using MIG and TIG welding techniques
- basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- familiarity with operating power tools such as grinders, saws, and drills
- must possess and use an air-fed welding mask
