Responsibility
- we are a growing sign company based in Leicester looking for a CNC Operator either full time or part time
- you'll be working in a busy production department specialising in acrylic, foamex, acm and aluminium bespoke fabrication
- program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- we are a growing sign manufacturer that specialises in high value bespoke one offs and large corporate identity brand roll-outs
- read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet required specifications
- collaborate with team members to optimise production processes
- troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines as they arise
Requirements
- previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- proficient in using V CARVE or similar CAD software
- strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
- knowledge of tooling and materials handling
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- familiarity with hand tools and welding techniques is a plus
- detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
