sewing machinist
Responsibility
- to support in the construction of our products from start to finish
- to repair, alter and produce high quality products for our customers
- maintain full awareness of any new developments
- ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are always in good working order
- maintain a clean, efficient and organised workstation at all times
- establish good working relationships and open communication with work colleagues and all persons associated with the company
- to attend any training
- to undertake any other reasonable request from time to time
Requirements
- experience of using an industrial sewing machine would be an advantage but not essential
- high level of manual dexterity
- strong hand to eye coordination
- impeccable attention to detail and commitment to producing a quality product
- organised with the ability to work to deadlines and timelines
- ability to take instruction and measurements whether by verbal, by drawings and apply to the production
- enthusiastic and able to react quickly to changing methods of production when necessary
- must be proficient working with eyelets, zippers, etc
