Responsibility
responsible for the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led operation of the service
efficiently manage the day-to-day functionality of the business relating to care
develop the service by securing LA and private tenders, being the main point of contact promoting the business
provide management and leadership for the existing care team, taking on a visible leadership role
work with the dedicated owner to implement best practice and effective care policies and grow the service
maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and wellness for the service users, ensuring compliance in all areas of regulated activity, including meeting the CQC fundamental standards for quality and safety
review, and where possible, update all policy, procedure, risk assessment and operating procedures required to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service, recommending changes and improvements to the senior management team
Requirements
detailed knowledge of the CQC regulations, KLOES, policies and procedures relevant for residential care home service
extensive experience working as a hands-on Registered Manager in a domiciliary care service essential with experience in medicine management
extensive experience working as a hands-on Registered Manager in a large, domiciliary care service essential
knowledge of start up service environments beneficial
experience of nursing care in a home care environment advantageous but not essential
an effective leader who can motivate existing staff members with a lead-by-example methodology
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
