Responsibility
- TEXO Recruitment are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the TEXO team in Westhill
- ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes, Standards, and regulations as well as Client and TEXO specifications & design philosophies
- undertake engineering analysis and prepare calculations for structural engineering projects
- be proficient in the use of relevant technical analysis and design software
- provide technical support to include report writing and presentations
- the Role of the Graduate Structural Engineer is to assist with engineering duties in relation to design, calculations, certification and code compliance on all assigned TEXO Engineering & Fabrication projects
- willing to attend design meetings, site meetings and carryout site inspections
- work on projects with consideration to the agreed project budgetary limits and schedule
Requirements
- bachelor or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of construction
- familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software
- structural Engineering: 1 year
