Responsibility

- balancing accounts, reconciliations, reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
- like us, our client list is growing – we’re supporting more and more of the UK’s ambitious business owners
- day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients including limited companies, charities, partnerships and soletraders, as well as bank reconciliations
- processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts and payments
- reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
- preparing monthly management accounts

- £25k – £30k subject to experience/qualifications
- £22,500 – £32,500, based on experience and qualifications

- full time , with hybrid working available
- monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working
Requirements
- recent and relevant bookkeeping experience including preparing and submitting VAT returns, reconciling control accounts, preferably in an accountancy or bookkeeping practice
- previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
- recent and relevant bookkeeping experience including preparing and submitting VAT returns, reconciling control accounts with an accountancy or bookkeeping practice
- minimum 2-3 years post qualified experience preferably within an accountancy practice
- minimum of 18 months bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified/newly qualified ACCA or ACA/Qualified by Experience
- ideally AAT qualified but will consider qualified by experience
- previous experience of preparing management accounts is desirable, but training can be given
